On 16 January 2025, Single Buyer Sabah had the honour of welcoming a delegation from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) as part of a benchmarking visit.
The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the organizational structure of Single Buyer Sabah, as well as to deepen understanding of the governance and regulatory framework governing the electricity supply industry in Sabah.
During the session, both parties exchanged knowledge and shared best practices on industry challenges, regulatory development, and operational efficiency. The benchmarking visit also provided an opportunity to foster regional collaboration and mutual learning between the two entities.
This engagement reflects Single Buyer Sabah’s ongoing commitment to industry excellence, transparency, and collaboration with regional partners.
