Program Sama-Sama Sihat : Hike and Heal

Kota Kinabalu,31 November 2025 – Program Sama-Sama Sihat: Hike & Heal program, organized by Single Buyer (SB) and Grid System Operator (GSO), successfully attracted the participation of approximately 200 employees from various divisions. This program is part of a corporate health initiative aimed at promoting an active lifestyle while strengthening camaraderie among employees.

The program began at 2:00 p.m. with a warm-up session and safety briefing held at the JKNS open area before participants embarked on a leisure hike to the peak of Bukit Kopungit — a popular community recreation spot offering a scenic view of Kota Kinabalu city. The hike was conducted in groups under the supervision of designated leaders and sweepers to ensure smooth coordination and safety throughout the activity.

Upon reaching the summit, participants enjoyed the panoramic view and took part in a lucky draw session that added excitement and enthusiasm to the event. The program concluded with a group photo session with the senior management team, symbolizing the organization’s commitment to employee well-being.

Also present at the event were Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ir. Ts. Mohd Yusmanizam Bin Mohd Yusof, Chief Single Buyer (ChfSB) Tn. Cornelius Shapi, Chief GSO (ChfGSO) Ir. Adrian Leo Mosigil, Chief Distribution (ChfDx) Tn. Nur Zaidi Bin Mohamed Yusup, and Chief Corporate Communication (ChfComm) Puan Lisa Wan Siew Han, who joined the hike up Bukit Kopungit in support of promoting physical and mental wellness in the workplace.

The management representatives also took part in the lucky draw session and presented prizes to the winners. The Sama-Sama Sihat: Hike & Heal program not only reinforces a culture of healthy living but also reflects the organization’s concern for work-life balance — in line with Sabah Electricity’s aspiration to cultivate a healthy, productive, and united workforce.
