Welcoming Single Buyer Peninsular to BESS Dam Road, Lahad Datu and Knowledge Sharing Session

The visit was held to strengthen collaboration, exchange technical insights, and enhance mutual understanding in advancing sustainable energy solutions. During the visit, participants were given a comprehensive briefing on the operation and functionality of the BESS, which plays a crucial role in improving grid stability and supporting renewable energy integration in Sabah. A guided site tour allowed the delegation to gain first-hand exposure to the system’s design, capabilities, and operational experience.

On the following day, the knowledge-sharing session at Kompleks Kuwasa continued the momentum of collaboration. Both Single Buyer Sabah and Single Buyer Peninsular shared perspectives on energy market operations, grid reliability challenges, and strategies to address the evolving energy landscape. The session fostered open discussions, where experiences, lessons learned, and best practices were exchanged to strengthen the operational efficiency and future readiness of both organisations.

This engagement not only reinforced the strong working relationship between Single Buyer Sabah and Single Buyer Peninsular but also highlighted the commitment of both entities to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration in securing tomorrow’s energy needs.
